What Is Chat GPT? – what is it used for? |
Chat GPT is an AI chatbot developed by OpenAI that is designed to
interact with humans in a conversational manner. It is primarily used for
customer service, but can also be used for a variety of other purposes, such as
writing essays, drafting business plans, and generating code. The chatbot uses
natural language processing and is trained on biased and unbiased data from
textbooks, websites, and various articles.
The current version of Chat GPT is powered by OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 model,
but OpenAI has announced that an upgraded version of Chat GPT will be powered
by GPT-4 infrastructure. This new model will be a multimodal model that can
understand image and video inputs, generating a response in the form of text.
This is a feature that is not currently available on the GPT-3.5 model.
Chat GPT is an excellent tool for researchers and developers working on
various NLP projects, and it has many specific tasks, domains, and applications
available to work within. It can reproduce data outputs and reliability, which
is crucial for many sensitive apps and other valuable AI systems. However, it
is still prone to error and biases and depends on its training data, which was
provided in 2021.
The chatbot can generate human-like answers and is easily
understandable to users. It can write code in Python, C++, and JavaScript,
write an article or blog post, translate, debug, write a story or poem, and
recommend chords and lyrics. To make the AI carry out one of these demands, all
you need to do is type the command into the chatbot.
There is a rumored professional subscription plan for OpenAI’s Chat GPT
called Chat GPT Pro, which was initially thought to cost around $42 per month.
However, OpenAI has recently released a subscription service, Chat GPT Plus,
which offers users exclusive benefits, including priority access and faster
response times, for only $20 a month.
Finally, there is no Chat GPT 4, as the current application is built on the GPT 3.5 language model. However, OpenAI has released a brand new large multimodal model, GPT-4, which will be implemented into Chat GPT in the coming weeks, allowing users to feed the bot images and videos to generate a text response.
